Our Traditions
One, Two, Three, Four Generations of Dentists
I guess you could say that dentistry is in the Hughes' blood. Dr. Herbert M. Hughes is third generation dentist in his family. His grandfather, Dr. JR Hughes, practiced general dentistry for over 50 years and his father, Dr. Herbert H. Hughes, practiced orthodontics in Alexandria for over 30 years. And if that's not enough Dr. Hughes' son, Justin, is currently a dental student at VCU and will graduate in 2012. The Hughes family is passionate about the profession of dentistry and their tradition will continue as Justin will soon begin his dental career.
Our Committment
We have been blessed with a great practice and we are committed to our community. We sponsor many charitable organizations, little leagues, sports groups, school activities, community associations and non-profit groups. Some of the organizations we have supported are:
